Gee Davy

Gee Davy is CEO of the UK’s Association of Independent Music (AIM). She has worked in the music industry for over 20 years covering many different areas including most recently in Business Affairs l. Gee serves on a number of industry boards and committees including at UK Music, PPL, IMPALA and WIN, among others, with a focus on copyright, policy, technology and industry strategy. Gee holds

qualifications in law and is an accredited Music Sector Expert, having moved into music after an early career in the technology sector. She believes passionately in creating positive change in

the world, currently working with the UK’s Women in Music Awards and as a Trustee of youth talent and black music-focussed education charity, UD Foundation. Gee feels strongly that a well supported independent music community is the future of a healthy and diverse society and is outspoken on the potential for better growth for technology through ethical interactions with music rights.
