Florian von Hoyer

Founder, enabler and builder of successful cooperatives and joint ventures since 1994 (Merlin, WIN, Ufi) Florian serves the music industry -especially the musicians and entrepreneurs at the core of it- as a strategic advisor, project lead, mentor and leadership coach. His pragmatic approach to problem solving and far-reaching change management has made him contribute to the development of successful companies such as Altafonte, PIAS, Zebralution, Musikvertrieb AG and MusicHub. He puts his skills as a facilitator and builder of strong and self-organizing teams at the service of innovative, reinvented, sustainable businesses, the ideal of a fairer world full of rich cultural biodiversity and creative opportunities for talent from wherever it emerges.

Fluent in four languages, semi-fluent in a handful more, he finds many of his core interests, passions and believes united in the EU sponsored project BELEM (Boosting European Lyrics via Entrepreneurial Monetisation) which aims at making song lyrics available and translated into multiple languages on all digital platforms, while ensuring a fair remuneration for songwriters, publishers and other rights holders.
